TiVo GameSkip for the Super Bowl Commercials

One of the great things about the Super Bowl is the commercials. This year, TiVo owners can SKIP directly to the commercials! That’s right, use your TiVo to SKIP over the game-time play and go right to the commercials. TiVo is calling this TiVo GameSkip for the Super Bowl commercials.

TiVo GameSkip for the Super Bowl Commercials

Here is how to use TiVo GameSkip for the Super Bowl commercials:

1. Record the Super Bowl game with your TiVo.
2. After the Super Bowl game is over, the green SKIP icon will show next to the game on the MyShows screen.
3. Play the Super Bowl game.
4. Press SKIP or D button to SKIP to the beginning of the next commercial break!

GameSkip will also stop at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

TiVo cautions that GameSkip is an experiment of sorts. Be ready for a glitch or two.

The TiVo GameSkip should work for all TiVo Roamio and BOLT DVRs. It should also work for Roamio and BOLT TiVos that have upgraded to the Next Generation Hydra software.
