The Captain Underpants book series has sold more than 70 million books. DreamWorks Animation released Captain Underpants: The Epic First Movie on June 2, 2017.
The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants television series will be developed by DreamWorks Animation and released on Netflix in 2018. The official release date is not yet known.
