The successor to TCLs 2017 P6-Series model is the 2018 6-Series.

One of the biggest improvements of the new 6-series model over the 2017 model is the Contrast Control Zones. These zones are how LCD TVs control light and dark areas on the TV. The more zones – The more control.

The 2017 P6-Series TVs had 72 Contrast Control Zones. The new 2018 6-Series TCL TVs have 96 zones for the 55″ TV and 120 zones for the 65″ TV.
