Facebook

UPDATE: Facebook will stream red carpet and backstage coverage. I would expect to see some non-live snippets of the Oscars ceremony on Facebook, but not necessarily a live stream of the entire Oscars.

While Facebook has not made any official announcement about streaming the Oscars, there are several rumors that Facebook will stream “something” related to the Oscars.

If you don’t have any other way to watch the Oscars live, this may be an option for you to watch the Oscars live.

Check on the night of the Oscars by signing into your Facebook account and going to Facebook.com/TheAcademy.
