This Week’s Free Friday Movie is the School of Rock

Free Friday Movie: School of RockThis Week’s Free Friday Movie is the School of Rock.

Dewey Finn (Jack Black) is kicked out of his own rock band. He lives at his friends house and sleeps on the couch. Through odd luck, Dewey becomes a substitute teacher at a prestigious elementary prep school. Dewey throws out the stuffy lessons and rules, and encourages the kids to think differently by creating a special school project called “Rock Band.” Dewey subverts trouble with the school and teaches the kids some great life lessons.

The School of Rock is a great Jack Black movie where Jack Black is great at just being himself. The songs from the School of Rock Soundtrack fit the movie very well and provided a solid foundation for the School of Rock – The Musical.

The film stars Jack Black, Joan Cusack, White, and Sarah Silverman.

Starring: Jack Black, Adam Pascal, and Lucas Papaelias.
